森堡萊夫，也是 Simple Life。
一個關於「慢下來」的承諾。
莊園的主人走遍世界各地，
在歐洲的鄉間小路上、在都鐸式建築的煙囪與木樑之間，
他找到了一種他一直在尋找的生活節奏——
不趕時間的早晨、有壁爐的夜晚、以及一種
讓人忘記自己身在何處的寧靜。
回到台灣，他選擇了日月潭旁的這片山谷。
四季如詩，薄霧常駐，老鷹在後山的肖楠林上方盤旋。
他說：「這裡的光，和歐洲很像。」
於是，在建築動工之前，
每一棵樹，已經先種下了。
建築師研究都鐸王朝的半木構工法，
以火烤碳化的木板、手鑿的玄武岩基石、
一塊塊疊砌的風化木化石，
用匠人的手，在台灣的山谷裡，
重建了一座來自五百年前英國鄉村的城堡。
今天，莊園佔地千坪，
前院是隨四季變色的高十米落羽松林，
後山是蟲鳴鳥叫的肖楠森林，
林下植滿了樹齡十年以上的植栽，
四季各有花開，
莊園的氣味，隨著季節緩緩流轉。
我們不追求規模，只追求每一位走進來的人，
都能在這裡找到屬於自己的那種慢。
這裡有壁爐、有樹屋、有歐陸晚宴，
也有一片讓你捨不得離開的松林。

About Senboard Manor
── Simple. Slow. Sincere. ──
Senboard Manor takes its name from "Simple Life" —
and that is exactly what we set out to build.
The founder spent years traveling the world for business,
moving between cities, airports, and meeting rooms.
But it was in the quiet countryside of Europe —
inside a Tudor-style cottage, by a crackling fireplace —
that he found the pace he had always been looking for.
He brought that feeling back to Taiwan.
He chose this valley beside Sun Moon Lake,
where the light, he said, reminded him of Europe.
Before a single wall was built,
every tree was planted first.
The manor's exterior is clad in hand-charred timber,
its foundations laid with hand-chiseled basalt,
its walls textured with fossilized driftwood —
each material chosen not for appearance,
but for the story it carries.
Today, Senboard Manor sits on over 3,000 square meters of land.
The front courtyard is anchored by a grove of bald cypress trees
that turn from green to amber to bare and back again,
marking the seasons with quiet ceremony.
Behind the manor, a forest of Taiwan incense cedar
fills the air with a scent that no candle has ever quite captured.
We keep the manor intentionally small.
Every guest who walks through our doors
deserves to be taken care of properly.
This is not a resort. It is not a hotel.
It is a place where time moves differently —
